Accessing frontier-level language models has always come with a catch — an API key, a credit card, a usage cap, or a terms of service that grants the platform rights over everything you type. We found that unacceptable.
Open-source models have reached a point where they are genuinely powerful. They can reason through complex problems, write clean code, assist with research, and hold nuanced conversations. The only missing piece was a clean, reliable, zero-friction interface to run them. That is exactly what we built.
VKGames is a launcher. You pick a model, you type, the model responds. No account required to get started. No prompt is logged. No conversation is ever used to train or fine-tune anything. What you type stays between you and the model's weights — period.
The posts you find on this site are written by the team and exist to share context around the models we host — what they're good at, how they compare, new releases, and occasionally broader perspectives on the open-source ecosystem. They are a side product, not the mission itself.

The models we serve are open-weight. Their architecture and parameters are public. You are not depending on a black box.
Zero retention policy
Conversations are streamed directly to your browser. We do not store message content on any server beyond the duration of the request.
Self-hosted inference
Models run on infrastructure we control. There is no third-party AI provider sitting between you and the model.

Access to every listed model is free to use. A credit system exists for heavier use-cases — but the base experience costs nothing.
